Pharma-Surface Guard® provides a convenient two-step solution for cleaning and deactivating most chemotherapy drugs and other hazardous drugs from work surfaces. Designed to support USP <797> and USP <800> compliance, the system helps maintain cleaner, safer compounding areas where hazardous medications are prepared and handled. The first packet contains a 2% sodium hypochlorite solution for cleaning spills and contaminated surfaces, while the second contains sodium thiosulfate and benzyl alcohol to deactivate the cleaning solution used during the first step. Durable polyester/cellulose ISO Class 5 cleanroom wipes provide dependable wiping performance, while the formulation is designed to help prevent oxidation on stainless steel surfaces. Pharma-Surface Guard® is ideal for compounding pharmacies and other controlled hazardous drug handling environments.
